The Starstreet Precinct “Recycle Your Bottles” initiative collected around 1,700 PET plastic bottles through 16 temporary collection points across Admiralty and Wan Chai. The bottles were cleaned and processed into plastic filament, which was then used for 3D printing by local studio to create distinctive festive decorations for the area. These installations included the Chandelier Spiral Christmas Tree and the “Snowball” — a large spherical structure filled with smaller, intricately designed snowflake elements. Each piece was produced using 3D printing technology, demonstrating how recycled materials can be transformed into something both practical and visually engaging.
